HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC SCHOOL

SPECIAL EVENTS

Father - Daughter Dance

The Annual Holy Trinity Daddy/Daughter Dance will take place each Spring in our school gymnasium. It is a time for Dads in our parish and school to treat their daughters like real princesses and enjoy a special evening of desserts and dancing.

Annual School Musical

The Holy Trinity Musical is an event that began over 40 years ago. Each class has a role in the musical and perform songs together. Some of the older students act out the musical theme of the year in between the class numbers. This major event in our school year packs the Community center on a weekend in March. It also serves as our largest fund raiser as students sell patrons for the musical program. We have been raising over $25,000 each year. The musical is free and open to the whole community.

Grandparents Day

In September, our students celebrate the gift of their grandparents. We honor grandparents with an all-school mass and then enjoy donuts, coffee, and photos.

White Elephant Sale

In preparation of Christmas gift giving, this annual sale is a fantastic way for our students to show their love for their parents, siblings, and grandparents. Students buy donated items for 25 cents to a dollar at our large sale as gifts for their loved ones. The 7th and 8th graders wrap the gifts and students take them home and put under their Christmas Tree.

Family Fun Nights

These HTPO events are always a hit with our students! Whether it’s a family-friendly movie night complete with pizza and popcorn, or a family Dance Night with Hawaiian decorations and food—it’s a great time to socialize with family and friends.

Science Fair

Our 7th & 8th grades compete in a NWOSEF Qualifying Science Fair at Holy Trinity as part of our project based science curriculum. Students select, research and conduct experiments for their projects. In addition, the Science Fair is cross-curricular, including science, math, language arts, and technology classes. Students present their projects to the student body and then are judged and have the opportunity to move on to the District Science Fair at the University of Toledo.

Mardi Gras

Every year on Mardi Gras, the students participate in a fun-filled afternoon event. Students purchase tickets to play games and win raffle prizes. All proceeds of Mardi Gras goes to the school's Lenten collection, such as Operation Rice Bowl sponsored by Catholic Relief Services.
